10:30 AM:
Arrive at the Koh Rian Community, an ancient community situated on an island in the Chao Phraya River. The area is divided by the Koh Rian Canal and is known for preserving traditional Thai sweets. This community is home to descendants of Thao Thong Kham Ma, the royal palace’s head chef during the Ayutthaya period. Here, you’ll experience making Thong Family Sweets at Baan Pa Mali Thai Sweets, a renowned establishment where Pa Mali, a descendant of Thao Thong Kham Ma, continues the tradition of creating authentic Thai sweets. Choose from making either Foi Thong (golden thread) or Thong Yip (golden flowers).
(Duration: 90 minutes)
During the activity, enjoy the royal snack Ma Hor—a delicacy favored by the royal family and aristocrats, known for its bold flavor, served with herbal drinks.
Lunch:
Lunch at Baan Pom Phet Ayutthaya, a Michelin Guide-recognized Thai restaurant for four consecutive years. (Meal 2)
Afternoon:
Visit Wat Ratchaburana, one of the oldest and largest temples in Ayutthaya. Built by King Borommarachathirat II (King Chao Sam Phraya) in 1967, this temple was once the site of a robbery where treasure was stolen from the central stupa. Later, the Fine Arts Department excavated the site and found valuable treasures, now displayed at the Chao Sam Phraya National Museum.
Next, explore the museum, which exhibits gold artifacts discovered in the stupa of Wat Ratchaburana, as well as ancient relics from other Ayutthaya temples such as Wat Mahathat and Wat Phra Ram. The museum also displays art objects from various historical periods, such as Dvaravati, Lopburi, and Ayutthaya, along with a collection of traditional Thai house models and everyday tools from the past.
Afterward, head to the hotel for check-in and enjoy free time to rest.
Evening:
Dinner at the hotel.
Day 2: Wat Phra Si Sanphet – MoSo Yodia Cafe&Bar – Bangkok
Morning:
Breakfast at the hotel (Meal 4).
10:30 AM:
Check-out from the hotel. Visit Wat Phra Si Sanphet, the royal temple of the Ayutthaya Kingdom and the site of many royal ceremonies. Admire the grandeur of the Three Chedis, a symbol of the Ayutthaya kings. Afterward, visit the Phra Buddha Chinnaraj statue in the Viharn Luang, the temple’s hall. This 16-meter-high statue is covered in gold leaf, symbolizing the golden age of the kingdom.
(Duration: 90 minutes)
Next, explore the local market near the Viharn for souvenirs and local goods.
Lunch:
Lunch at Baan Mai Rim Nam, a riverside wooden house restaurant. (Meal 5)
Afternoon:
Relax and enjoy a cool break at MoSo Yodia Cafe&Bar, a newly opened cafe designed by the famous actor Ben Santiraj Kunanopkiat. The cafe brings a touch of Japan to Ayutthaya, featuring bamboo trees and Daruma dolls at the entrance. The name MoSo means bamboo in Japanese, and Yodia refers to Ayutthaya in ancient times.

Complete the activities and head back to Bangkok.
